What makes a good RV mattress different
An RV mattress has to do three things a residential mattress does not. It has to fit a non-standard platform, often with a corner cut or angled edge. It has to be lighter so it does not push your rig over its weight rating. And it has to handle vibration, temperature swings, and humidity without breaking down in two seasons.
The way we build for that: closed-cell support foam that does not take a set, breathable ticking that handles Florida humidity, and edge construction that holds shape when you sit up against the slide wall.
Corner cuts and unusual shapes
Most RV beds have at least one squared corner that needs cutting back, usually the foot end. Bring us the dimensions of the bed platform with the corner cut measured (from where the cut starts to where it ends), and we will match it. Same goes for V-berths on boats and angled cuts on Class B vans.

How much does a custom RV mattress weigh?
Depending on size and construction, between 35 and 90 pounds. Foam builds are lighter, hybrids with coils are heavier. We can spec for weight if your rig is close to its rating.
Will it handle Florida humidity?
Yes. We build in Clearwater, so every mattress we make is already proven against Florida humidity. Breathable ticking and quality foam stop mold and mildew issues that destroy budget RV mattresses.
Can you deliver to an RV park?
We deliver across the Tampa Bay and Venice areas. For longer trips or out-of-area pickups, call the showroom and we will work it out. For nationwide shipping we route the order through Custom Mattress Makers, our online sister brand, which ships UPS to the lower 48.
What if I do not know my RV bed size?
Pull the old mattress, measure the platform inside the bed frame in inches, and note any corner cuts. Call us with the numbers and we will spec from there.
How does the 100-Night Comfort Adjustment work on an RV mattress?
Same as our residential builds. After 14 nights of sleeping on it, if the firmness is not right, bring it back and we adjust the padding at no charge.
