Our experience with Tampa Mattress Makers has been excellent.  This family owned and operated business provides high quality mattresses at affordable prices.  Bill  Lamirande, who helped us in the Venice store, is very knowledgeable, kind, and patient.  With his support, we found the bed that meets our needs.  The delivery team was courteous and careful. It hasn't been a month yet since I purchased the Westchase Medium Firm King mattress and box spring from Tampa Mattress Makers. However, I am so glad I chose them. From the very first time I walked into their store to the delivery, Bill and Jack have been fantastic to do business with. If I could give this business 10 stars I would. We had an excellent experience at Tampa Mattress. This is a local,  family owned business. We were greeted by Bill when we walked in and he explained how the mattresses are constructed and we could see that they use high quality materials. He took his time with us and explained the differences between all of the mattresses and the bases. Their mattresses are customizable and their pricing is very competitive. Each mattress is made to order by family members in just a few days at their St. Pete facility. Delivery went very smoothly with Jack and his delivery partner. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to be home when the mattress and base were being delivered so my husband had them set the adjustable base a little too high for me. I called the store and Bill explained how to lower the base and even offered to come over when he left the shop that night or to have his son Jack come over on his day off. We were able to lower the base ourselves, but are very grateful for the superior Customer Service that was provided. I will never go anywhere else to get a mattress. Jack at the Venice store of Tampa Mattress offered probably the best customer service I have received in decades. His attention to detail, his enthusiasm and sincere desire to remedy my back pain issues, while adhering to my limited budget; every aspect of my highest hopes were achieved and surpassed. He even delivered it same day at no additional charge. I am certain that because this is a family owned and operated business, and that his father and sister were also a part of the team, is why I was treated with such respect. It did not go unnoticed. We had a wonderful experience with Tampa Mattress Makers! Bill Lamirande was very personable & did a wonderful job in explaining how their mattresses are made all American materials with no products from China & each mattress is made to order. We did check out Mattress Firm after our time in Tampa Mattress Company & just walking into that store, you could smell the chemicals & the mattresses just felt cheap. Our salesman was Bill. We had a fantastic experience with him in finding our perfect mattresses for our camper.  The bunk beds had a custom size with an angle in the corner. He was able to match them perfectly. The comfort was a huge upgrade from the standard mattresses that come in a camper. It is just as comfortable as sleeping at home.
